The Korg BEATLAB Digital Metronome is the perfect metronome for all of you drummers out there looking to improve your skills, while stilL having a good time practicing. The BEATLAB has an impressive 39 basic rhythms patterns, or rudiments, in its Training function for easy practicing to almost any rhythm, even triplets, and complex rhythms like five to nine notes per beat. So no matter what your skill level, the BEATLAB has just the right rhythms for any practicing drummer.

The BEATLAB has 39 preprogrammed rhythms, including roll, paradiddle, flam, and ruff, and using the unique sliders and keys, you can create your own rhythms, giving you endless possibilities. While you practice, the BEATLAB's red LED and left hand sound will indicate the strong beat/left hand and the green LED and right hand sound will indicate the weak beat/right hand. You can even choose which hand to start counting on. Although BEATLAB is ideal for snare drums, any musician find it an indespensable tool for honing his/her skills. Using the Program Mode, you can combine up to nine types of rhythms and accent specified beats. You can use quarter notes, eighth notes, sixtennth notes, and triplets. And so you will not lose any of your creations, the BEATLAB can store up to 24 programs in its internal memory. Chain mode allows you to memorize 8 chains containing up to 16 programmed patterns. The tempo is even adjustable. You can adjust the tempo by using the Tap Tempo function. For easy use the BEATLAB has individual keys, and sliders to chose your own personal settings. The display is easy to see because it is backlit. The BEATLAB runs on 4 AA batteries or an AC adapter.
