Don't be intimidated by its small size, the GA30 by Korg may be tiny, but it has all the capabilities of any other guitar and bass tuner, and then some. The GA30 has a precision needle-type meter, Quinta Flat tuning, and Sound Out functions. And if that's not enough, this little wonder even doubles as a stand with a handy arc-shaoed "tilt slip" for holding plastic cards. Now tell me, can your old clunky tuner do all that?
The GA30 automatically detects pitch in seven-string guitars (7B to 1E), six-string basses (Low-B to Hi-C), and acoustic guitars, making for one well rounded little tuner.
With the accuracy of a LCD and the easy visibility of needle, the GA30's LCD needle provides guess-free display. Also, the GA30 has LEDs to show pitch deviation.
The Sound Out function uses internal speakers to create reference tones for easy ear tuning. Pressing the Sound switch will cycle through 7B to 1E in guitar mode, and LB to HC in bass mode.
The Quinta Flat tuning mode supports tuning 5 semitones below standard pitch , perfect for heavy metal music and long scale guitars with up to 5 more frets than conventional guitars.
For conserving energy, the GA30 will automatically turn off after not being in use for twenty minutes. With a low battrery consumption design, the GA30 has aproximately 100 hours of use.
