The GT120 guitar and bass tuner has a backlit LCD screen that displays calibration settings, flat mode, note name, and remaining battery life with perfect clarity. The screen also displaya pitch drift and perfect tuning using flat (B) and sharps (#) LEDs. In addition to indepth screen functions, the GT120 also has a dial to choose modes, and a stand for convenience while practicing.
The GT120 has both automatic and manual settings. In automatic mode, the GT120 detects string names and shows the notes closest to the pitch played. In manual mode, you choose your intended note note (C-B).
The GT120 has built-in reference tones in a 5 octave range. The calibration can be ajusted to a range of 438Hz to 445Hz and has a detection range of A0-C8.
The GT120 is capable of open tunings and flat tunings. Open tunings used with slide guitar or finger picking with five tuings including D/E/G/A as well as DADGAD areimple with the GT120. Flat tunings are supported by the GT120 down to four semitones below standard pitch.
The GT120 has speakers for extra volume so you will always be able to hear the preprogrammed reference pitches that range from C2 to C7.
Using only 2 AAA batteries, the GT120 has an extend life of 100 hours. The GT120 can also be used with an AC adaptor (not included) and comes in a handy suede-type soft case.
